Changes to Confero’s Payment Policy

As of September 2011, Confero will be restructuring our payment policy. We are changing our payment timing to help alleviate some of the confusion around when mystery shops will be paid. We found that our once per month pay cycle was limiting and we have worked to make payment terms equally advantageous for shoppers who conduct shoppers early in the month and those who shop later in the month.

Starting in September, mystery shoppers will be paid no later than 60 days after the shop date. We will release payments twice a month, on or around the 10^thand on or around the 25^th. Mystery shopper invoices will still be paid via PayPal only. Shops conducted and submitted the 1st – 15^thof the month will be paid in the following month on or around the 25^th. Shops conducted and submitted the 16^th– 31^stof the month will be paid in the second month on or around the 10^th. For example, a shop conducted and submitted September 14^thwill be paid on or around October 25^th; a shop conducted September 20^thwill be paid on or around November 10^th.

The “on or around” allows for these dates to fall on weekends. Also, please keep in mind to allow up to 5 days for the payment to cycle from Confero to you via Paypal.

Please remember that Confero does not ever issue payments via check to mystery shoppers. Confero only issues payment via PayPal. This is a consumer protection so that Confero's reputation does not get confused with the mystery shopping fake check scams that have been targeting the mystery shopping industry in general and Confero in particular.
