Customer Experience Measurement Firm Ranked On 2011 List Honoring Privately Held Women- And Diversity-Owned Businesses
CARY, N.C. – Elaine Buxton, CEO and president of Confero, Inc., a national customer experience measurement firm, has announced that the firm has been selected as a Top Privately Owned Business by DiversityBusiness.com, distinguishing the firm as one of the top entrepreneurial companies in the country. Confero is included in DiversityBusiness.com’s annual Top Business List, a recognized and respected compilation of women- and diversity-owned companies that differentiate themselves in the marketplace. Confero was ranked No. 38 on the Top 50 Women Owned Businesses in North Carolina list, and No. 38 on the Top 50 Diversity Owned Businesses in North Carolina list. Confero’s position will be honored at the 11th annual National Business Awards Ceremony and Conference on April 19 in Harbor, Md.
“It is an honor to be listed on the 2011 DiversityBusiness.com ranking of the top privately-owned companies in America,” said Buxton. “Our clients depend on Confero to provide the information they need to keep customers and increase sales. This ranking is a result of our entire team’s work to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of services and information during these challenging economic times.”
- DiversityBusiness.com creates an annual listing of the nation’s top 500 privately owned businesses, challenging the long-held notion that privately owned businesses are small and insignificant.
- More than 750,000 businesses in the United States had a chance to participate in DiversityBusiness.com’s annual business survey. The awards are based on annual gross revenue and business profiles. Details about the Top Business List awards are available at http://www.diversitybusiness.com.
- This year’s event was hosted by former co-host of ABC’s Good Morning America Joan Lunden.
- The Confero team has enjoyed such honors as being ranked on Inc. magazine’s Inc. 5000 list, distinguishing the firm as one of the nation’s top 5,000 fastest-growing privately held businesses, and being ranked No. 51 on the Top 100 N.C. Small Businesses list. In 2010, Confero was named to Carolina Parenting Inc.’s N.C. Family-Friendly 50 list for 2010, recognizing the firm for offering family-friendly employment programs, policies and opportunities.
