The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about what kinds of information we may gather about you when you use our site, how we may use that information, whether or not we disclose it to anyone, and your ability to correct the information. 

Information We Collect.
Our primary goal in collecting specific information from you is to determine your interest and ability to conduct mystery shopping assignments and answer surveys appropriately. We also must know information about you in order to match you to appropriate assignments.  And, to protect our clients, we must know of your employment status, job title and employer name so we may exclude you from assignments for clients which compete with your employer.

It is necessary for us to have your email address so that we can deliver the appropriate Confero news, offers of assignments and assignment instructions.  No one will receive your email address except Confero unless you elect to share it with someone directly or consent to allowing it to be shared. 

In general, our service automatically gathers certain usage information like the numbers and frequency of visitors to conferoinc.com and its areas, similar to television ratings that tell the networks how many people are tuned in to a program ("Traffic Data"). We only use such Traffic Data in aggregate. We may specifically use your email address, your mailing address, and phone number to contact you regarding available assignments and communications relevant to assignments you have accepted from us. 

We use Traffic Data collected to improve our website and assignment efforts, to statistically analyze Site usage, to improve our content and to customize our Site's content, layout, and services. We believe these uses allow us to improve our Site and better tailor it to meet our users' needs.

Disclosure.
We will not provide your personal information to any third parties, with one exception.  We are occasionally contacted by other shopping companies seeking shoppers in particular cities. From time to time we do send selected Independent Shopper names and addresses to these 'friendly competitors".  We believe the Independent Shoppers are seeking all kinds of mystery shopping work and would, therefore, welcome such contact.  The information we give these companies is limited to name and street address. Your email address will not be given out without your permission. 

Security.
This Service has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information we gather. Any Personal Information is protected and stored by state-of-the-art firewall, Secure Sockets Layer, system-level and database-level security. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only our employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example a customer service representative) are granted access to Personal Information or Traffic Data.
