Confero Payment Policy

Confero only pays shoppers via Pay Pal.  You must be registered with Pay Pal, and have your profile checked to accept Pay Pal, to be able to request assignments from Confero.  We do not write checks for any shops conducted, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Payments will be processed on or about the 25th of the month, following the shop date of the assignment.  For example, shops conducted in January will be paid, via Pay Pal, around the 25th of February.

An email is sent to your email address, from Pay Pal, once payment has been made.  You can also log-in to your account to view payment at www.paypal.com.

Confero does not pay for assignments that are not conducted according to guidelines, or for which the appropriate validation is not received.  We require either a purchase receipt or an associate's business card, depending on the assignment, as validation of your visit.  See your guidelines on how to submit your assignment documentation to Confero. We accept validation via fax or upload to your survey.

To sign up for a Pay Pal account, go to www.paypal.com.

If there is a discrepancy on a payment amount, please send an email to Shopper Payments with the assignment number, date conducted, company survey name and discrepancy amount.  Please be sure to sign your email with your first and last name and give all of the requested information for a quicker response.

Shoppers are independent contractors and are responsible for any tax liability resulting from their mystery shopping income.  Please check with your own tax advisor for information.  If you make over $600 in fees in a calendar year, you will be sent the appropriate tax forms from Confero in January for the prior year's shop fees.
