On January 31st, the Confero team met to learn more about heart disease in women, warning signs and how to administer hands-only CPR. This meeting was part of a nationwide Go Red initiative sponsored by the American Heart Association to raise awareness of heart disease in women. The symptoms which women experience are different than those experienced by men and include uncomfortable pressure in the chest, pain in one or both arms, neck, stomach or back; and shortness of breath. Confero made a donation to this worthwhile cause and helped spread the word via social media. We hope that we have reached many clients and shoppers, so that they are more in the know about prevention of women’s heart disease.
